This was the humble beginning of the Stonefish, Peter Papanikitas’ brainchild and lifelong dream. In 1999, Peter doodled the infamous “SToNeFIsH” label on a napkin and since then, the wine has grown into an international label served in some of the best establishments and hotels all over Asia.

More than this, Stonefish is not just a wine brand; it is also a true reflection of a man’s dedication and hard work.

For over thirty years now, Peter Papakinitas has been involved in various facets of the wine industry. He has worked with well-known companies that include Penfolds, Lindemans, Leo Buring and Cinzano. Peter gained experience in worldwide sales and marketing. Stonefish was established in year 2000 in Australia with vineyards in the Barossa Valley and Margaret River until it became the international brand that it is today.
